The Curdridge project began in October 2023 when we received an email requesting a quotation. We quickly arranged a meeting with the customer and sent them a quotation within three days. The client expressed their desire to move into the newly extended space in time for Christmas, so we promptly began work to meet their deadline.

This single-story extension involved linking the main house to the original garage, creating a spacious kitchen with a WC and a large entrance area. We installed a steel structure at the rear and added impressive bi-folding doors to seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces. Our experienced groundworkers dug footings up to 3 meters deep, overcoming challenges posed by nearby trees and confined space.

Curdridge.

Services.

Our team at JWS. Construction took care of every aspect of the Curdridge project. We constructed brickwork walls to attach the house to the garage and created a new brick opening with steelwork for the stunning bi-folding doors. Inside, we installed a beautiful oak staircase with a glass balustrade and removed internal walls to create an open plan kitchen and dining area. The project was completed with a fitted kitchen and a herringbone oak vinyl floor, meticulously installed by our team.

Outcome.

We pride ourselves on delivering projects that meet and exceed our customers' expectations, and the Curdridge project was no exception. With three weeks left until the Christmas deadline, we handed over the completed project to a thrilled and satisfied customer. The transformation from a simple garage to a spacious and modern extension was achieved seamlessly and within the agreed timeframe. At Hocombe Construction, we strive for excellence in every project we undertake, and the outcome of the Curdridge project reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality results.
